The Employment Pass (EP) is a work visa for foreign professionals, managers, and executives in Singapore. If you hold an EP and have been working in Singapore for a reasonable period, you may be eligible to apply for PR under the Employment Pass Holder Scheme. S Pass Holders
The S Pass is another work pass for mid-skilled foreign workers. S Pass holders can also apply for PR, but the requirements may be slightly more stringent compared to Employment Pass holders.

Foreign students who graduate from a Singapore-based institution may also apply for PR. The Foreign Graduate Scheme allows individuals who have studied at Singapore’s higher educational institutions to gain Permanent Residency.

Foreigners who are married to a Singapore citizen or a PR holder are eligible to apply for PR under the Family Ties Scheme. This pathway also extends to children of Singapore citizens and PR holders.
